Manual handling of various operations results in repetitive errors in sample mix up, testing mix up, data mix up, labeling error etc. Several reports of morbidity and mortality have been documented, world over, related to avoidable manual (or clerical) errors in blood banks. Specially designed barcodes are used on donor form, donor record, both tubes and blood collection bag including every satellite bag issues.

Blood collection monitor- sophisticated equipment used at the time of blood collection. Which measures volume, does mixing, and BCM is provided with alarm and clamps. Component Separation done by using programmable refrigerated centrifuges. Quarantine and labeling is done by using various functions of software. Screening report is generated through software.

	Intelligent labeling Product label for different blood components. Composite label is generated by software using different information from different module like donation number, date of donation, product name, group name and that it is non-reactive for TTI & the expiry date etc. It is ensured that without composite labeling product can not be issued.

Donor Database Management

Donor database management is initiated with each donor being assigned a unique barcode number. All information collected about the donor and donation is maintained on this number.

It has become the basis of a warmer and more effective Customer Relationship Management to serve and retain blood donors.

Product process & Inventory

The software links up the blood testing machines with donor database, product database and patient database. Through this integration, large number of screening and blood grouping is performed accurately and efficiently. This has taken away the fear of mistakes and infused high confidence in the medical team with its fault free performance.
